Paedo Provo Brendan ‘Ruby’ Davison abused boys who were found ‘guilty’ in a hail of UVF bullets by an IRA kangaroo court days before his death.
The IRA chief conducted a sadistic sexual punishment ritual against three teenagers whom he accused of theft.
The Republican Godfather, who was over 6 feet tall, ordered them to lie on his lap with their jeans by their ankles.
And he hit her bare buttocks with a heavy mahogany brush until they bled.
“Ruby is very enthusiastic about it. I have absolutely no doubt about that. It was sexual, ”one of his victims told us this week.
Brendan Davison, 33, a senior member of the IRA who served on the staff of the Belfast Brigade, died on July 25, 1988 in a hail of loyalist bullets.
Last week, the Sunday World released details of how Davison forced a 12-year-old boy into a bizarre sexual cross-dressing ritual before raping him.
Today the Sunday world can also show that a few days before Davison’s death, his apartment on the ground floor on Friendly Way was the scene of a dirty IRA kangaroo court.
At the time, local crooks and thieves – and some who were completely innocent – were forced to stand in Davison’s House of Justice the IRA style.
Theft or trafficking in stolen goods or bringing police into the area were crimes worthy of punishment.
In Brendan Davison’s “court”, accused children were not given the luxury of a defense.
In his living room, Davison played the roles of a judge, a jury, and a sadistic sex pervert.
Earlier this week, a group of middle-aged men from the close-knit market area agreed to meet individually with Sunday World in a discreet park in South Belfast.

And one man remembered how the senior IRA man – days before Davidson’s death – organized a kangaroo court in his home.
It seemed to him to be a pleasure to ask the victims to choose a “weapon” with which they would then suffer pain.
“I was ordered to call Ruby’s apartment with two friends at a certain time. We had sold stolen property in the area, which caught police attention. We knew we would be beaten, but we didn’t think we would be sexually molested.
“Ruby ordered us to sit on a sofa. Then he took out a hammer, an oversized screwdriver, and a large wooden clothes brush with a brass hook on the end.
“Ruby told each of us to choose one of them, and he said that whoever we picked would be used for us. We all chose the clothes brush, thinking it was the least dangerous.
“Ruby told us to drop our jeans and pants on the floor.
Then he marched the three of us down the hall to a bedroom on the left by the flat entrance. There was nothing in it except a large full length mirror and a seat.
“Ruby sat down and ordered each of us to take turns lying on our laps. Then he hit our bare buttocks with the wooden brush. It was incredibly painful. We were all badly injured and one of the boys was bleeding when he finished. Ruby clearly enjoyed it.
“He got a buzz from watching everything in the mirror,” he said.
“Ruby Davison was a sex pervert. All the boys in the market knew, but he wasn’t the only one. The IRA still has a lot of dirty secrets. “
Davison had spent two years behind bars on the word supergrass. And it is believed that by this time the special department signed him.
Nicknamed “Ruby” for his predilection for the Kenny Rogers hit “Ruby, Don’t Take Your Love Down Town”, he was perfectly positioned to provide the RUC specialty department with first class information about the IRA.
Davison was drawn to the promise of large cash and cash bonuses and was quick to reveal the location of an IRA arms store on his home pavement.
A skin erected under the entrance of a house belonging to an elderly market resident who supported the IRA, which has since died. It contained a Thompson machine gun, three AK-47s, pistols, and Semtex.
Ruby passed on the details of the location, but a British Army raid on the house failed to find him.
As the soldiers left, IRA men moved in and cleaned up the dump before hiding its contents.
An hour later – after consulting Ruby again – the army returned to the house they had searched and went straight to the hiding place by the front door. But it was too late, the arms were gone.
Only a small number of IRA men in the market area knew the whereabouts of the guns at the time, and we learned that Ruby sexually abused three of them.
Following his assassination, Davison was interred with full military honors on the Republican property at Milltown Cemetery on Falls Road.
His remains were less than ten feet from the grave of IRA icon Bobby Sands.
In 2017, ‘Ruby’ Davison’s family released a statement denying claims that he was an informant.
In a statement, the family said, “This seems to us to be repeating ancient information that is little more than a little chatter about a dead person who in no way can challenge or question it.”
