Ramona Johnson Obituary (1930 – 2022) – Ogden, UT

Ramona Merritt Johnson age 92. January 13, 1930 – May 6, 2022
As written by Ramona:
I was born in Bedford Wyoming on January 13, 1930. I was the eighth of 13 brothers and sisters. We lived on a farm and had many, many chores. I loved dancing. My brother Keith and I would go dancing every night even after working hard all day in the fields.
I moved away from home when I was 13 and worked three jobs to help pay rent with my two brothers. I believed in working hard to get what you wanted and needed. To be able to say that I put in an honest days work.
I loved going to garage sales and finding treasures and collecting jewelry and selling it on Ebay. I’ve always loved painting, reading a good book and watching bloody movies and westerns.
I went on camping trips and adventures with Diane and her family. I always had a purse full of change and candy. I had the kids believing that my purse grew money.
I love all my children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. I’ve had a special bond with my great grandson, Gavyn. I helped raise him and dearly loved him.
If I could say one thing to all of you is always be yourself and be happy. There will always be ups and downs, but remember who you are and do the best you can.
I will always love all of you.
~ Your mom always
I have lived in numerous assisted living homes, but my stay at The Villas has been my most precious. I loved and appreciated everyone that has taken care of me.
