Salt Lake City Mayor announces ‘Choose SLC’ Winter Market

SALT LAKE CITY – Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall announces a campaign to encourage people to buy local produce during the holidays. The mayor and the Downtown Alliance have launched the ninth winter market “Choose SLC”.

Mayor Mendenhall said the downtown winter farmers market will open at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Visitors can take part in a variety of promotions, discounts and giveaways. A giveaway includes a one night stay in the city. Someone could indulge in a stay at the Hotel Monaco, two tickets to Ballet West’s Nutcracker, and a $ 100 voucher for a dinner at Pago on Main.

Local vendors also have produce, meat, dairy products, desserts, handicrafts and many other items for sale.

The “Choose SLC” winter market starts on Saturday

The “Choose SLC” winter market opens on Saturday morning. The event will take place on Saturday on the north side of Pioneer Park. After the opening event, the celebrations will move to the 2021-2022 location on the north side of The Gateway and continue on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The market ends on April 23, 2022.

The Downtown Alliance encourages local shopping to avoid shipping problems.
