CEDAR CITY (AP) – Wildfire burning in southern Utah has triggered the evacuation of nearly 300 homes and burned some structures within a mile radius as high winds threatened to start the uncontrolled fire, officials said Sunday.

ST. GEORGE – The prime suspect in a string of active theft investigations across Washington County was arrested after SWAT officials found him hiding on the roof of a hurricane residence early Tuesday morning.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) – A tour bus accident that resulted in more than a dozen people being thrown onto a remote Utah highway in 2019, killing four Chinese tourists, points to a lack of safety standards for bus roofs and windows, US investigators said Thursday.
