Man chases women with big screwdriver in Ogden. arrested

OGDEN, Utah – Ogden police arrested a man who was chasing two women with a large screwdriver in hand.

An official observed the man, later identified as 59-year-old Kelly Clark, partially on the street near the intersection of Riverdale Road and Washington Blvd. last Friday.

He also saw a woman and young girl walking in front of Clark who, according to a likely cause, were holding a large screwdriver in their right hand.

The policeman stopped next to him and asked Clark if he was okay to distract him from the two women. The woman looked at the officer and shook her head.

The officer asked Clark several times to stop, but he refused.

More people were approaching on the sidewalk, so the officer called to them to leave and pointed his gun at Clark.

He asked him why he had a screwdriver and Clark explained that the affidavit said he was “to be killed”.

The officer again told Clark to drop the gun, at which point Clark turned to the officer, raised the gun in an aggressive stance, and stated that he was “going to come on me,” the PC says. Explanation.

The officer told Clark to drop the gun again and drop it on the floor. Clark threw the knife in the street and sat down.

More units arrived and Clark was arrested.

He was sent to prison on suspicion of aggravated assault and violence demonstration.

Because Clark has a long history of criminal offenses and because the current crime is a crime, he has been ordered to be held without bail.
