Weber County declares it a “Second Amendment Sanctuary”

Weber County became Utah’s youngest Second Amendment Sanctuary Tuesday after the county commissioners passed a resolution.

The sheriff’s office, which was posted on Facebook in support of the resolution, said it was “designed to protect the right of every citizen to bear arms”.

“Protecting the rights of Weber County residents is of the utmost importance and priority to our office. As the guardian of the US Constitution, it is our duty to protect our county and its citizens in all functions, including the right to bear arms, “Sheriff Ryan Arbon said in the Post.
