Brown Commercial Group has announced the sale of a 20,362 square foot industrial / flex building at 1808 Ogden Ave. negotiated in Lisle, IL. Mike Antonelli, partner in Brown Commercial Group, represented the seller, a private trust company, on the transaction.
The buyer was Gator Chef, a supplier of new and used restaurant equipment. The building is a rare, freestanding flex / industrial building located along submarket I-88 in the Village of Lisle shopping district. It comprises 8,840 square meters of storage space, 6,953 square meters of production space for suspended ceilings and 4,360 square meters of office space as well as 80 parking spaces. It is located on 3.5 acres of land.
“The location of the property in an important shopping corridor, together with the vision of the village to get the most out of the property, presented us with several challenges in our search for the right buyer,” said Antonelli. “We were fortunate to find a buyer who met the needs of both the seller and the village of Lisle. We believe this new owner will fit in well with the community. “
