SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, March 14, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) – A 22-year-old man was rushed to hospital in extremely critical condition after falling down in the parking lot of an entertainment center in Salt Lake City early Sunday morning.

According to SLCPD Lt. Cluff, officials were called to the 801 Events Center at 1055 W. North Temple St. at around 1:23 am to report a possible fight between two men in the club’s parking lot.

“It’s one of those dance clubs. There was music playing, a lot of people, there was a very special event going on at the time, their weekly Saturday thing, ”said Cluff.

When the police arrived, they found a man seriously injured, apparently because he was run over, while a second man was arrested by the club’s security staff.

The injured man was taken by ambulance to Intermountain Medical Center, where he underwent emergency surgery. His injuries have been described as life threatening.

The alleged suspect was taken into custody for questioning.

Cluff said the Gephardt Daily detectives had just started their investigation “when they were trying to piece together what happened”.

We will update this story as more information becomes available.
