GREEN RIVER — The Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) check stations across the state are wrapping up operations for the season, according to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. In the Green River region most check stations will operate through Sunday, September 25.
The check station closures are as follows:
- Firehole (Flaming Gorge): Closes Sept 25
- Anvil Draw (Flaming Gorge: Closes Sept. 25
- Kemmerer check station: Closes Sept. 25
- I-80 Evanston: Closes Oct. 31
Boat inspections remain mandatory for any watercraft entering Wyoming by land through November 30 and for any watercraft coming from AIS infested waters year-round.
