Cindy Godfrey Obituary (1966-2021) – Grand Junction, CO

Cindy Kay Godfrey

October 4, 1966 – September 6, 2021

Cindthia Kay Godfrey was born on October 4, 1966 in Vernal, Utah. Her father Ralph Caldwell precedes her in death and she leaves behind her mother Marilyn Caldwell. She was the middle child with two siblings, Becky and Darren. Dallas Godfrey is her loving husband. They were childhood friends and found love later in life. She has four children, Melissa, Andrea, Christy and Heather.

More than anything, she loved her family and nine grandchildren, Caleb, Chloe, Jonathan, Trey, Jaelynn, Alison, Abigail, Jameson, and Ava.

Your family can affirm their strength and ability to give without asking for anything in return. She loved the wilderness, camped and sat around the campfire and exchanged laughter. As well as dipping your toes in the sand and listening to the sea.

If you were to meet Cindy for the first time she would ask, “What’s your story?” This was their attempt to get to know you better and claim you as a family.

One thing she wanted to leave behind is a beautiful and powerful idea. She said it best, “If you ever want to find me, all you have to do is ‘kick stones into the mountains’.
