City of Green River plans to restrict traffic on the underpass tomorrow morning

GREEN RIVER – The city of Green River will have a single lane drive on the Union Pacific underpass on Thursday morning to allow city crews to clear the weeds after Tuesday’s wind and snow incident.

Due to the wind, several hundred weeds gathered on the north side of the underpass.

The emergency services will convert the two-lane road into a single-lane road on Thursday morning from 10.30 a.m. Flags will be placed on both sides of the underpass to direct traffic. The western lane on Second South Street will be blocked by the underpass. Expect delays of around two hours.
