Free family programs are available at Flaming Gorge | . offered people

FLAMING GORGE – Every Friday through August 6th, three interpretation programs are offered in the Flaming Gorge.

The interpretation programs include:

– 3:00 PM Shore Nature Walk: Walk through a riparian forest along Sheep Creek as you talk about the importance of water. See Kokanee salmon migrate later in the season on the Sheep Creek Nature Trail, Highway 44.

– 7:30 p.m. Cart Creek Fire: Remember those who lost their lives in the 1977 fire as you discuss fire ecology and fire management at the Firefighters Memorial: Between Sites 18 & 19, Loop C, Firefighters Campground.

– 9:00 p.m. Friends with the Night: Watch the sky darken with music, poetry and mythology at the Bootleg Amphitheater on US 191 across from Firefighters Campground.
