OGDEN, Utah – A head-on collision claimed the life of a 40-year-old man in Ogden Friday night.
According to Ogden City Police, the accident occurred on Washington Boulevard near 1100 North just before 6:30 p.m. A 2001 Ford-150 was traveling south on 1100 North as it crossed the center lane. It drove onto the northbound lane and collided head-on with a 2015 Ford F-350.
The driver of the F-150 died on the scene. The 40-year-old’s identity was not disclosed. The driver of the F-350, a 70-year-old woman, suffered life-threatening injuries. She was transported to the hospital for treatment for her injuries.
The incident is still being investigated.
