Henry Campbell Litster of Vernal, Utah died on July 14, 2021 in Clinton, Utah

Henry (Hank) was born on February 13, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to John Etheridge Litster and Maecell Mary Bottom. He graduated from Davis High School in 1951. He was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served missions in London, England, 1953-1955, and served in many Church offices throughout his life.

He married Enid Aileen Brown in August 1955, later divorced in September 1973. They were blessed with four children, Terry (Ransom), Robyn (Coleman), Gary, and Nicholas Litster. In October 1977, he married Phyllis Delores Leath and added additional blessings to his family by adopting their three children, Danny, Lori (Whitlock) and Keri (Cox).

Hank was a jack of all trades. To support his family, he drove a concrete truck for Ready Mix, a taxi in Salt Lake City, and a long-haul truck for Consolidated Freightways, along with various other jobs over the years. After 20 years of honorable career, he finally retired from the Federal Civil Service in November 1984.

Hank was very patriotic and loved this country. From 1955 to 1957 he served 2 years in active service in the US Army and from 1967 to 1961 4 years in the US Army Reserve.

Hank was very proud of his garden and was often seen on his lawnmower, cutting the grass and sitting on his porch waving to everyone whether they knew him or not.

Hank preceded in death; his parents, his wife Phyllis, his brothers John Jr. (Jack) and Bruce, his sisters Mary (Partridge) and Alice (Barney) and 2 grandsons Christopher Flynn and Joseph Litster. He leaves behind his 7 children, 19 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life / grave service will be held at Maeser Fairview Cemetery, 300S on August 13, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. 3500 W, Vernal, Utah, 84078.
