It’ll be a bit warmer than usual in Utah this weekend

It’s going to be pretty nice for trick-or-treaters and Utah, BYU, and USU fans.

Utah will be a little warmer than usual this weekend, which is good news for trick-or-treaters and soccer fans alike.

According to the National Weather Service, the normal maximum temperatures in Salt Lake City from October 29 to October 31 are 58 or 59 – the forecast calls for 61 Friday, 62 Saturday, and 59 Sunday.

In Provo it is usually 61-62 – 65 on Friday, 66 on Saturday and 64 on Sunday.

In Logan, it’s usually 53-54 – look for 61 on Friday and Saturday and 57 on Sunday.

And in St. George it’s usually 71-72 – the forecast is 80 for Friday and Saturday and 77 for Sunday.

The Halloween crowd doesn’t have to worry about going trick or treating on Saturday, Sunday, or both. In northern Utah, temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s for both nights. No rain is predicted for Saturday evening and a 30% chance on Sunday evening.

In southern Utah, temperatures will be in the 50s and 60s for both nights, and no rain is forecast.

College football fans in Salt Lake City, Provo and Logan will stay dry, according to the National Weather Service. And temperatures will be good for late October.

Utah State vs. Hawaii (1pm Saturday in Logan) • The forecast calls for temperatures in the mid-50s at kick-off, which will rise into the low 60s. Expect mostly sunny skies and winds of 10 km / h.

Utah vs. UCLA (8:00 PM in Salt Lake City) • Temperatures will be in the low 50s throughout the game. The sky will be mostly cloudy and there will be very little wind.

BYU vs. Virginia (8:15 pm Saturday in Provo) • There will be around 50 at kick-off, with temperatures dropping into the mid-1940s. It is mostly cloudy, with wind speeds of around 10 km / h.

By the way, southern Utah is in the state of Montana on Saturday lunchtime, and Missoula is sunny, with temperatures between the top 30s and low 40s. Weber State will play Idaho State at 1 p.m. in Pocatello, where it’s partly sunny with temperatures in the 50s.

And Dixie State will face Delaware on the east coast at 11 a.m. MDT. It will be mid-60s, mostly cloudy, with a 15% chance of rain in Newark.
