Laurice (Lori) Susan Raya, 75, died on Friday, December 17, 2021 with her loving husband Kenneth by their bedside. She was born on August 31, 1946 in. born Southern California. She was the eldest daughter of Antonio Lagna and Mary Scalora. She married Kenneth Raya on September 18, 1978.

Life Sketch – Lori grew up in Los Angeles County, California and was educated in local public and private schools. She lived in California, Hawaii, Louisiana, New Hampshire, and Utah. Lori worked as a line worker for a calculating machine company and a food service company, as a fast food manager, cashier, and mail and files clerk for the Internal Revenue Service.

She also worked as a Tupperware Presenter and Avon Presenter. She served twice as a young women counselor, young women secretary, and ward librarian, making sure the missionaries were assigned families to feed them. She loved to do handicrafts, read and play the accordion and dance ballet as a child.

Lori particularly enjoyed looking after her husband Kenneth and their Tibetan spaniels Meatball and Robbie. Lori was a loving and caring woman and is missed by everyone who has known her.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Raya, who lives in Utah; three children Darlene, married to Rene Juarez, who lives in Utah; Michelle married Doug Kircher and John married Kim Rigali, who lives in Arizona; Grandsons Cherese, Daniel, and Adam live in Utah; Ashlee, Emilee, Nathan, and Abigail live in Arizona; four great-grandchildren Isabella, Alex, Alexis, and Erick live in Utah; Sister Florence, who lives in California. Lori is preceded by her parents and her grandson Michael in death.

A private family tour of Latter-day Saints Church of Jesus Christ, Mount Lewis 6, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 27, 2021. instead ofthat Parish, 1150 N. Monroe Blvd, Ogden, Utah.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mount Lewis 6th, will be open to the public on Monday, December 27, 2021, 4-5pmthat Parish, 1150 N. Monroe Blvd, Ogden, Utah.

The funeral will take place on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at Latter-day Saints’ Church of Jesus Christ, Mount Lewis 6. instead ofthat Parish, 1150 N. Monroe Blvd, Ogden, Utah

The funeral will take place on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Tonaquint Cemetery 1777 So Dixie Drive, St. George, Utah
