OGDEN, Utah (KUTV) –
Part of Wall Ave. Ogden will be closed for several hours Monday night after a man was hit by a car and killed, police said.
A 60-year-old man rode his bike on Wall Ave. near the intersection of 28th St. when he was hit, Lt. Matt Ward of the Ogden City Police.
The crash happened just after 7 p.m., Ward said. He told 2News that the biker was wearing dark clothes and had no lights on his bike.
First responders tried life-saving measures against the man, but he died before he could be rushed to the hospital, Ward said.
The police do not suspect the driver was impaired, according to Ward. The driver was uninjured and no other cars were involved.
The incident is being investigated.
