Salt Lake City, UT—Marjorie Duncan Hunter, age 96, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 31, 2022 in Holladay, Utah. She was born in Neola, Utah on September 19, 1925 to Ivan Henry and Maria Keel Duncan.

Marjorie was the mother of five children, six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Throughout her life she worked as a Beautician for over 45 years, owned and operated a Home Care Facility for 23 years, and Hunter Auto Wrecking for 13 years. She was a dedicated volunteer giving countless hours of service at The Alano Club of Murray taking calls to speak comfort and give guidance to people in need. For many years she coordinated the collection of and distribution of food to those in need in her community. Marjorie had undying faith in God and love for her Savior Jesus Christ. To know her was to love her. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Marjorie is survived by her sister Thelma; children Jeffrey, Calvin, and Julie; her grandchildren Jefferson (Amy), Dylan, Riley, Ross, and Lynzee; and great grandchildren Kaylee, Jaxon, Grayson, and Tyson. Preceded in death by her husband Harry; children Lynn and baby Diane; parents; brothers Elray, Edwin, and Harold; and sisters Gevene, and Florene.

Funeral services will be held on August 09, 2022, at 2pm, at K2 The Church (SouthEast Christian Church Bldg.), 1881 E Vine Street, Salt Lake City 84121. Thank you to Cottonwood Creek Retirement Home for their dedicated care.
