David M. Mitchell-Ogden, 55, of St. Joseph passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. He was born on February 17, 1966 in Los Angeles, California, to Maureen Mitchell. He graduated from Verdugo High School in Tujunga, California and attended Missouri Western State College. David loved music and played guitar, enjoyed being outside, and most of all, loved being a father.
David was preceded in death by his mother Maureen Hess and sister Rita.
Survivors include three daughters, Michelle Ogden of Santa Clarita, Calif., Reanna Ogden of St. Joseph, and Victoria Ogden of St. Joseph; Mother of his children, Carmen Davidson; Sister Deanna Sanders-Ogden of Morena Valley, California; and brother, Richard Ogden of Tujunga; Grandson Joshua Steltenpohl.
The funeral will take place on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at 6 p.m. in the Rupp burial house. Pastor Calvin Haynes officiates. The family welcomes friends to Rupp’s funeral on Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m. David is cremated after the services.
