Norma Beeson Fazzio Obituary (1929-2021) – Orem, UT

Norma Beeson Fazzio was born on August 27, 1929 in Beaver, Utah, the third of four children of Percy and Thora Beeson. Norma grew up in Beaver. She was very active in school, playing clarinet and tennis, and graduating from Beaver High School before moving to Price, Utah, where she met her future husband, Ross Samuel Fazzio. It was love at first dance as they both loved doing jitterbug. They married on July 23, 1949 and were married for 51 years. Norma was a full-time housewife who raised three daughters. A talented gardener in both landscaping and vegetable gardening, she maintained a beautiful, comfortable home for her family. Norma loved to cook and there was always a great dinner as her family came home every night from their daily activities.
As the girls got older, Norma took a job at ZCMI and later worked in what is now the UVU’s bookstore. She was politically active and was a member of The Lady Elks Club. After she and Ross retired, they spent several years abroad. They especially enjoyed cruising.

In death, Norma precedes her husband, her parents, her brother Eslin Beeson, her brother Von Beeson and her sister Shirley Ann Beeson Giles. Norma leaves Karen Lee Fazzio Rollins (Craig Rollins), Lori Ann Fazzio Rogerson (Rod Rogerson), Cynthia Fazzio Turk (Michael Turk), 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the talented and caring staff at River Meadows Senior Living for having been an important part of Mum’s life for the past 9 years.
