Brenton Lane Whaley

November 30, 1979 ~ March 26, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Brenton Lane Whaley announce his death on March 26, 2021. Brent was born on November 30, 1979 in Chugiak, Alaska and moved to Ogden, Utah at the age of 7.

He stayed close to home and could always count on him to attend the big family gatherings that the Whaley’s are known for. His sense of humor and infectious smile brightened every day.

Brent was an avid scouter and enjoyed working in several Boy Scout Camps, with Camp Loll being one of his favorites. He was also very artistic and enjoyed coloring and doing puzzles as often as he could.

He entered the Police Academy in 2012. He graduated that same year and it was one of his proudest accomplishments.

Brent was the proud father of two children and spent his adult life devoting his days to his children. We will miss a child in our hearts, his sense of adventure and playfulness.

Brent is survived by his two children Alexis (11) and Lincoln (8); his parents Mark and Sylvia Whaley from Ogden, UT; his seven brothers and three sisters as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Brent family requested a private family service.

The funeral services will be streamed live on Thursday April 1, 2021 at 11 a.m. and will be available by scrolling to the bottom of Brent’s obituary.
