HERRIMAN – Northridge High Girls’ Basketball led 27:23 at halftime on their way to a 50:44 win at 6A Mountain Ridge (9-2) on Thursday.

Kate Tueller led Northridge (5-5) with 11 points. Aubree Reeve and Madison Hosino scored 10 points each and Hali’a Mislang-Darden added nine.

SYRACUSE 59, RIVERTON 35

SYRACUSE – Syracuse used a 20-4 second quarter to beat Riverton (8-2).

Whitney Sorensen led all scorers with 19 points for Syracuse (9: 1). Skylee Hopkins hit four 3-pointers on her way to 12 points.

GENEROUS 54, MURRAY 25

BOUNTIFUL – Bountiful beat Murray in a home win in the second half with 30:11.

Taylor Harvey led Bountiful (6-3) with 15 points. Claire Cook scored 12 points and Lizzy McConkie scored 10.

RIDGELINE 60, BOX ELDER 33

NORTH LOGAN – Box Elder were beaten 18-4 in a road loss in Ridgeline (12-0) in the second quarter.

Tegan Mecham scored nine points ahead of Box Elder (6-4) and Ashlyn Reeder scored seven.

HURRICANE 45, OGDEN 44

CEDAR CITY – Ogden led 23-13 in the half but was beaten 19-11 in a tournament loss to Hurricane (6-5) at Canyon View High School in the fourth quarter.

Ashley Christensen led Ogden (4-6) with 15 points and three 3-points. Lucy Ballard added eight points.

PAROWAN 60, OGDEN 53

CEDAR CITY – Ogden was 40:37 before the fourth quarter, but couldn’t get any closer in a tournament defeat against Parowan (5: 5) on Wednesday.

Grace Pulley and Ashley Christensen each scored 16 points, leading Ogden (4-5).

BONNEVILLE 49, ROY 23

WASHINGTON TERRACE – Bonneville led 25-7 at halftime in a home win against Roy on Wednesday.

Libby Jensen led all scorers with 14 points and two 3-points for Bonneville (3-8). Courtnie Porter scored 13 points.

Sha’kyra Joiner beat Roy (4-5) with six points. Nicole Williams and Masie Scholer each scored five points.

LAYTON – Bountiful took a 20-10 lead after a quarter in a win at Layton on Wednesday.

Taylor Harvey scored a game-high 15 points for Bountiful (5-3) and Lizzy McConkie added 13 points.

Jayden Seegmiller led Layton (4-5) with 13 points. Lauryn Hall scored 11.

FARMINGTON 59, BRIGHTON 51

FARMINGTON – Farmington took a 33:21 break in their home win against Brighton (3-6) on Wednesday.

Delaney Baker led Farmington (4-4) with 19 points. Maddie Hauck added 11 points and Victoria Clinger added eight points on two 3-pointers.

UTAH MILITARY 33, UMA-KW 16

RIVERDALE – Utah Military Academy-Hill Field took a 3-0 lead in their season opener win against Utah Military Academy-Camp Williams (3-0) 11-0.

Kendall Prieto led all scorers with 12 points for Utah Military-HF (1-0). Rosemary Arana and Malaya Larsen each scored seven points.

Preston Williams scored 17 points for Ben Lomond (8-3). Caleb Alexander added 16 points and Trenton Harris scored 12.

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield were down 19-3 after a quarter in a home defeat to Taylorsville (1-9).

Peyton Kotter led Clearfield (1-8) with 10 points and three 3-points. Lincoln Church scored seven points.

ROY 65, NORTHRIDGE 53

RIVERTON – Roy was leading 35:14 at halftime, defeating Northridge in the Riverton holiday tournament on Wednesday.

Spencer Bessinger and Dominic Anguiano each scored 19 points for Roy (2-8), with Bessinger adding seven rebounds and Angiuano providing seven assists.

Northridge (6-5) got 22 points and eight rebounds from Sam Sivulich. Landon Woll added seven points.

DRAPER – Syracuse was beaten by Juan Diego 21:13 in the fourth quarter after a loss at the Eagle Holiday Shootout on Wednesday by Cyprus (4-4).

Carter Semrow led Syracuse (2-6) with 14 points and two 3-points. Brandon Clark scored 11 points with three Treys and Brock Williams added 10 points.

BOUNTIFUL – Bountiful was beaten 14: 9 in the crucial third quarter in a home defeat against Green Canyon (6-4) on Wednesday.

Carson Smith led Bountiful (4-4) with 13 points. Sam Stevenson and Trevin Ostler scored 12 points each.

LAYTON CHRISTIAN 72, MURRAY 61

SALT LAKE CITY – Layton Christian was 42:33 behind at halftime but used a 19-8 lead in the fourth quarter to beat Murray (5-4) at the Olympus on Wednesday.

Sammy Ishimwe led the LCA (6-3) with 14 points. Timmie Olubisi scored 12 points and Shorn Solomom scored 10.

MORGAN 70, NORTH PEAK 50

MORGAN – Morgan led 38-21 in the half in beating North Summit (4-7) on Wednesday.

Nixan Ordyna scored a game high of 28 points with three 3-pointers for Morgan (8-1). Josh Criddle scored 12 points. Alex Fisher and Eli Bailey added 11 points each.

UMA-CW 53, UTAH MILITARY 34

RIVERDALE – Utah Military Academy-Hill Field was outperformed each quarter in a home loss to Utah Military Academy-Camp Williams (1-9) on Wednesday.

Hunter Keller and Quin Ekberg each scored 10 points for Utah Military-HF (0-3).
