  1. A Denver-based team has partnered with a local developer to create the Red Lion Hotel Towers and the surrounding area nearby Salt Lake City‘s downtown. The project would be the latest to bring hundreds of small apartments to the capital as it continues an ongoing cycle of thousands more housing units in the years to come. The development would be in two phases, with a conversion into nearly 200 micro-apartments by the end of next year. (buildingsaltlake.com)

Salt Lake CityThe police chief says the city’s parks are not getting the attention they need, despite being patrolled by a dedicated bike squad. boss Mike Brown told the city council that it was all due to the fact that the department is running out in the face of a huge surge in service requests.
