Salt Lake City Int’l Airport among most costly to depart

A new report released this month highlights Salt Lake City International Airport as one of the most expensive airports in the US

According to Finance Buzz, the average fare for passengers leaving the new SLC Airport is $ 329.56; fourth highest in the country.

The survey was created by calculating average fares based on 2020 domestic routes.

While Salt Lake City Int’l Airport only came 24th in the survey among 45 US airports in terms of total passenger volume, it was behind JFK, San Francisco International and Charlotte / Douglas International when it came to the highest average airfares.

On the other hand, McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas was the cheapest departure airport with an average flight price of only $ 209.95, followed by Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood and Orlando International.
