OGDEN, Utah, May 25, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) – State Route 39 will close at the Mid Canyon Bridge overnight in Ogden Canyon on Thursday, Ogden city officials said Tuesday.
It will be closed from Thursday, May 27th, 9:00 pm to Friday, May 28th, 5:00 am to dismantle and remove a crane
“Traffic will be allowed as far as the Gray Cliffs. Motorists east of Gray Cliffs should choose a different route during the closure. The canyon will be open during the day, ”the announcement said.
According to the notice, the public should expect:
- Full gorge closed overnight
- Local traffic only up to Gray Cliffs in either direction
- Movements of large construction machines
- Noise, vibrations
