1947 – 2022

Teri B. Hill, 75, of Fairview, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 14th, 2022. She was born March 30, 1947, in Ogden, Utah to Russell Fred Braselton and Donna Maxine West Braselton (Tracy).

She fought valiantly every day against the frustrations she experienced from Lewy Body dementia. Through it all she loved everyone and tried her hardest to tell us often as best she could as the disease slowly stole her away from us. She was our loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and a friend to everyone she met. She loved her babies and seeing them on video calls and in pictures. She lived life to the fullest, flying hang gliders, and had several jobs that she enjoyed like building rocket booster motors where she was able to meet astronauts, and working at the University of Utah for the Middle East Center. She loved her old antique cars that she inherited from her daddy. She always spoke fondly of her brother Russell. She had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and enjoyed attending and serving in the Ogden, UT temple.

She is survived by her children, daughter Christine Edwards, (LaVar) Fairview, TN, son Bryan Hill, Hurricane, UT, son Randall Hill, (Lori), Ogden, UT. Seven grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father Russell F Braselton, her mother Donna Maxine Braselton (Tracy), her sister Dee Lynn Andrews, and her brother Ty Braselton.

Teri was passionate about teaching and had a great wish that she might make a difference in the lives of those that suffer from Lewy Body Dementia Disease and Parkinson’s. Her wish was to participate in a study to find a cure for this awful torturous disease that slowly steals a loved one from their family. If you would like to help fulfill her wish, please consider contributing to Vanderbilt University. Gifts may be made online at: www.vumc.org/vmac/donate.
