OGDEN — Time’s almost up if you still haven’t cast a ballot in the primary — voting ends at 8 pm Tuesday.

The Republican candidates in several races are to be selected and the list of hopefuls for the Precinct 6 seat on the Weber School Board will be whittled from three to two.

Mail-in ballots had to be postmarked by Monday if you wanted to send them in via the US Postal Service. However, they can be turned in until 8 pm Tuesday at 21 drop box locations around the county.

Likewise, in-person voting will be taking place at the Weber Center, 2380 Washington Blvd., in Ogden from 7 am to 8 pm Tuesday. More information is available at the Weber County Elections Office website, weberelections.gov.

As of Monday afternoon, 20,025 ballots had been returned to the elections office, reflecting turnout so far of just under 30%. Around 67,000-68,000 ballots went out in all of Weber County this cycle.

By contrast, turnout in the 2018 primary in Weber County totaled 44.7%, with 28,868 ballots cast among the 64,536 registered voters.

The general election is set for Nov. 8.
