SALT LAKE CITY – Police say police are investigating after a man and woman were found dead in a house in South Salt Lake on Friday night.
South Salt Lake officials responded to welfare assistance at a house at 2889 S. Eugene Lane shortly after 11 p.m. Friday after a neighbor reported gunshots, according to a news release from the South Salt Lake Police Department.
Officials entered the house and found a man and woman in their thirties, both dead with gunshot wounds, the news release said.
The police are investigating the deaths. The names of the husband and wife will not be released until the family has been notified.
