Burnadean Blake Obituary (1932 – 2022) – Ogden, UT

Roy- Burnadean McArthur Blake, 90, passed away on May 25th, 2022.
Burnadean was an amazing woman who lived a long and impactful life. She was born in Marion, Idaho, the daughter of Pearl and John McArthur. She was the 12th child of 13. They moved to Utah in 1943. Burnadean attended school in Idaho and Utah and graduated from Weber High School in 1950. She soon met (Ed) Leroy Elmer Blake.
Burnadean and Leroy were married in 1951. Together they had 10 children Roger Blake, Jim Blake, Randy (Teri) Blake, Mark (Martha) Blake, Cathy Mansfield, Jeff (Coleen) Blake, Bob (Becky) Blake, Kelly Blake, Gary Blake, Chuck Blake. She retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1993 after 26 years. She was a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burnadean loved her family, baking, quilting with her sisters, reading, and exploring.
Burnadean was truly a loving and kind person who would do anything for anybody. She will leave the world with a space that cannot be replaced by anyone else. We will miss her terribly but will take with us all of the love and knowledge that she has given.
She is preceded in death by her parents John and Pearl, her husband Leroy, her son Roger, 11 siblings, one daughter-in-law, Candace, and one grandchild Dustin.
She is survived by her sister Bonnie, her children, 25 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
A special thank you to her daughter in laws, Teri Blake and Coleen Blake, for the loving support in the past few weeks.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 3, 2022, at 11:00 am at Myers Mortuary in Roy, 5865 South 1900 West. Visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2022, at 6 pm to 8 pm and Friday prior to the services from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the same location. Interment will be at the Hooper Cemetery, 5301 South 6300 West Hooper, Utah.
