Cheap flights from Provo to Phoenix? Breeze Airways announces new service
Utah-based Breeze Airways is expanding service in its home state, offering nonstop flights to Arizona.
Travelers trying to get to the Grand Canyon State will have a new option this year, Utah-based Breeze Airways announced Wednesday.
The airline said it plans to offer nonstop service from Provo to Phoenix this fall, with one-way tickets starting at $29.
Service kicks off Nov. 2 and will be available on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The announcement comes less than a week after the low-cost carrier launched daily service from Provo to San Francisco. Service to Los Angeles and Las Vegas also begins this fall.
Breeze Airways began service last year from 16 locations in the United States. The company was founded by entrepreneur David Neeleman.
Neeleman, who also founded JetBlue, has said Breeze Airways is focusing on flying out of Provo because it’s an opportunity to tap into a new market.
