The water lantern festival is back! On Saturday (August 14th) it is on the program in the Jensen Nature Park in Syracuse. This is a floating lantern event that is magical. There will be food, games, vendors, music and the beauty of thousands of lanterns adorned with love letters, hopes and dreams reflected in the water.

It’s back to school and why not end the summer with a relaxing night at a lantern festival? There will be lanterns, dessert vendors, and an outdoor movie at the Cedar City Aquatic Center. This is Saturday evening, the gates open at 8:00 a.m., the lanterns are lit at 8:30 a.m., and the movie is at 9:15 a.m.

If you’re smart, head to Utah State Fair Park for the 13th annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival. It runs from Friday to Sunday and is the largest locally-centered arts festival in the world. It was created by lcoals for locals and celebrates everything local.
