Ogden man arrested in connection with 2019 missing persons case in Alaska

OGDEN, Utah — A 32-year-old man from Ogden, Utah, was arrested Monday in connection with a 2019 missing person case out of Alaska.

Officials with the Homer Police Department said Kirby Foleni Calderwood has been arrested and charged with kidnapping, first-degree murder and second-degree murder, and tampering with physical evidence in the case of Anesha “Duffy” Murnane, who went missing on October 17, 2019

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to Duffy’s family and all who are touched by this horrible event,” read a Facebook post from the agency.

The case remains under investigation.
