SYRACUSE – After three quarters of balanced basketball, the Syracuse High Boys’ basketball outperformed Viewmont in the last frame by 25:21 and scored a 77:73 home win on Thursday night.
Brock Williams led all scorers with 33 points for the Titans (1-3). Williams shot 10 of 15 off the floor, including 3 for 6 behind the 3-point line. Kaden Ericksen added 22 points and two Treys.
Ericksen and Willimas shot together 22 of 23 from the free throw line and SHS went 10 to 10 off the line in the fourth quarter.
Brevin Hamblin added 14 points and six rebounds. Syracuse shot 58.5% out of the field and Viewmont shot 53.2% out of the field.
Radek Pulsipher led Viewmont (2-2) with 23 points and three 3-points. Scott Noel scored 16 with four treys and six rebounds, while Caden Lauder added 14 points with four 3-pointers from the bench.
OGDEN 70, UTAH MILITARY ACADEMY 16
OGDEN – On Wednesday, 11 players scored for Ogden in a win over the Utah Military Academy (0-2).
Jace Oliverson scored 12 points with four 3-pointers to jointly lead the Tigers (2-0), which received 12 points from Alex Howard, nine from Ozzy Norton and eight from Landen Smith. Ogden was leading 30:10 at halftime and 59:14 after three quarters.
Hudson Bartolomei led the Thunderbirds with six points.

SOUTH JORDAN – Fremont was 23:18 behind in the half, then ran away from Bingham (2-1) with a 27-3 lead in a third quarter road win.
Timea Gardiner led all scorers with 14 points and two 3-points for Fremont (2-0). Kennan James scored 12 points and Ashley Oliver added 10 points and two Treys.
DAVIS 37, WASATCH 20
KAYSVILLE – Davis held Wasatch (1-2) in the first half with a home win on seven points.
Kylee Mabry led all scorers with 13 points for Davis (2-0). Kendra Kitchen added nine points, all of which were scored in the third quarter.
BOUNTIFUL 52, STANSBURY 29
STANSBURY PARK – Riley Johnson scored 19 points to lead Bountiful to a road win.
Lizzy McConkie added 15 points and Taylor Harvey scored 12 for the Redhawks (3-0).
JUDGE MEMORIAL 75, CLEARFIELD 22
CLEARFIELD – Clearfield was 41-15 at halftime in a non-regional loss. Miranda Mansfield led the Falcons (0-3) with 12 points.
University of Utah signee Teya Sidberry topped all scorers with 35 points for Judge Memorial.
COPPER HILL 51, LAYTON 39
LAYTON – Jayden Seegmiller scored 13 points with three 3-pointers to lead Layton (1-2) in a home loss. Charly Stevens added nine points.
