Qualtrics has big plans to expand in Europe: 1,000 jobs

Qualtrics International Inc. is growing up in Europe.

A leader and creator of the Experience Management (XM) category said late Sunday that it plans to hire 1,000 new employees in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) by 2024. A cornerstone of the expansion effort is doubling the size of its new headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, and appointing key regional executives.

“Companies around the world are in the midst of an experience transformation – and there is tremendous market and category opportunity ahead of us,” said Zig Serafin, chief executive of Qualtrics, to MarketWatch. “The investments we are making today will help us grow across EMEA and ensure we continue to help our customers build their next great customer, employee, product and brand experiences.”

The Provo, Utah-based company, co-founder of Ryan Smith, owner of Utah Jazz, also announced a team of technology veterans to oversee operations in Europe: Stephanie Barton, Managing Director for EMEA (formerly VMware Inc. VMW, -0.73%); Güner Aksoy, who heads Germany, Austria and Switzerland (ex-Pure Storage Inc. PSTG, + 1.46%); and Vanessa Cugnière, new manager for France (formerly Salesforce.com Inc. CRM, + 1.11%).

The expanded EMEA headquarters are scheduled to reopen in early 2022.
