Susan Dalene Baxter

1966 ~ 2021

Susan Dalene Baxter died unexpectedly of an aortic dissection on June 6, 2021. She was born on March 29, 1966 in Salt Lake City to John Keith Baxter and Dalene Leone Armstrong Baxter.

Sue grew up on the Avenues of Salt Lake and attended Ensign Elementary, Bryant Jr., and East High School. Susan attended the Hill Cumorah Pageant. She directed the Capital Theater and Abravanel Hall for several years, which allowed her to enjoy many popular Broadway shows. She joined the Kappa Nu Sorority and the Salt Lake Institute Concert Choir at the U of U. She loved to read and enjoyed traveling to many parts of the world. Her loving manner, great sense of humor, and caring personality made strong, lasting friendships everywhere.

A loyal member of Latter-day Saints of Jesus Christ, she served her whole life in Christ-like ministry, served a mission in Taiwan, and accepted many callings, including serving as Relief Society ward and stake president.

Her parents and sister-in-law Holly precede her in death. She leaves behind her siblings David Baxter, Janet (Randy) Bartholomew, Marilyn (Skip) Riggs, Robert (Ann) Baxter, Richard (Amy) Baxter and Karen (Mirek) Gruszkiewicz, many nieces and nephews and their goddaughter. Gracefulness.
