OGDEN, Utah – Sidnee Naerebout, a newcomer to the US state of Utah, won the Aggies title on the second and final day of the Weber State-hosted Twilight Meet on Tuesday on the Chick Hislop Track at Stewart Stadium.

Naerebout took first place in the women’s triple jump with a mark of 11.09 meters (36-4.75). She was one of four Aggies to achieve top 3 placements when junior Anna Parkinson finished third in the pole vault with a personal best of 3.65 meters (11-11.75). Newcomer Xiomara Malone was third in the long jump with a grade of 5.55 meters (18-2.50) and in the second year Dolly Gabri was third in the shot put with a record of 14.65 meters (48-00.75).

Newcomer Brandon Ovington led Utah on the men’s side when he finished fifth in the shot put with a personal best of 15.67 meters (51: 5).

The Aggies are now turning to the 2021 Mountain West Track and Field Championships taking place May 13-15 at the Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, California.
