UTAH COUNTY, Utah, Oct. 4, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) – The Utah Sheriff’s Office search and rescue teams on Monday rescued a Salt Lake City man who had spent the night near Jacob’s Ladder.

UCSO Sgt. Spencer Cannon tweeted late Monday afternoon that the rescue was shortly before 9 a.m. when SAR volunteers helped the 51-year-old man who spent the night over Alpine and Draper near Jacob’s Ladder.

“He climbed Lone Peak on Sunday and then got lost in thick bushes. He was prepared! ”Reads the tweet. “Aside from Scrub Oak scratches, it is unharmed.”
