OGDEN — Two men were shot early Sunday while sitting in a vehicle in downtown Ogden and police are investigating.
One victim was seriously injured but is expected to survive and the other suffered minor injuries. Both were taken to a local hospital after the shootings in the Electric Alley area behind businesses on the north side of the 200 block of Historic 25th Street.
“The suspects are believed to have been known to the victims,” Lt. William Farr, Ogden Police Department spokesperson, said Monday. “This was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public.”
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at about 1:30 am and found the victims in a vehicle. Farr said they were shot while inside the vehicle.
No arrests had been made by Monday afternoon. Farr said detectives are investigating.
